HCSB Revisions of Ephesians 1

One change that I do not like from the HCSB revision is found in Ephesians 1. Ephesians 1:7 (HCSB) 7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace Ephesians 1:7 (HCSB) 7 We have -redemption in Him through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace Ephesians 1:11 (HCSB) 11 In Him we were also made His inheritance, predestined according to the…

NLT Study Bible, ESV Study Bible, and “Blessed” (Psalm 1:1)

When I received a NLT Study Bible (for free from the NLT Blog) with a torn page, Laura Bartlett from Tyndale emailed me that she would try to get me a replacement Bible. It sure is refreshing to have…

My Top Bible Translations

I would have never believed that I would come to use this translation so much when I first purchased one a few years ago. Up…
